OUT OF ORDER
This familiar phrase points in a couple of different directions. In common usage it means 'not working as expected'. Underneath that there is also a hint that 'Out of Order' suggests something different, in which case 'Order' serves as a disguise for something else - something which can be both exciting yet unsettling. Each of us work in very different ways: one conspicuously untidy and impulsive, the other more measured and contained. Both of us are exploring emergent qualities.
